Diving in Canada doesn’t have to end when the water gets cold. The PADI Drysuit Diver Specialty teaches you how to dive comfortably and confidently in a drysuit, opening the door to longer dive seasons, colder-water destinations, and some of the best diving our area has to offer.
With Dirty Adventures Scuba, you’ll learn proper drysuit setup and care, buoyancy control, safe diving techniques, and how to handle common drysuit situations both at the surface and underwater. You’ll get hands-on experience under the guidance of one of our PADI instructors so you can become comfortable using a drysuit as part of your regular dive setup.

The certification includes the required training dives and covers:
- Drysuit fit, setup and proper use
- Buoyancy and trim while diving dry
- Descents, ascents and venting techniques
- Managing air movement within the suit
- Emergency procedures and recovery skills
- Drysuit care, maintenance and storage
- Tips for staying warm and comfortable in cold water
