The Raleigh - Port Colborne

The Raleigh was a 227-foot wooden steamer built in 1871 that sank in Lake Erie near Port Colborne on November 30, 1911, following a steering failure in heavy seas. Three people died when the ship broke in two, and the wreck now lies in about 30 feet of water as a popular, shallow, and heavily broken-up dive site featuring massive boilers and a broken rudder.

Max Depth 30ft.
