Descend into Lake Ontario’s history with this premiere technical dive. Resting just off the coast of Oakville, this unique site features a massive construction crane that slid off a barge during a storm. The crane sits fully intact and upright on the lakebed, its long boom stretching out into the dark. Just a short distance away lies the wreckage of the Ubique III, the tugboat that sank alongside it.
Due to deep depths, frigid bottom temperatures, and unpredictable lake currents, this site is strictly a technical dive. It serves as an exceptional training ground for entry-level tech courses, trimix certification, and advanced decompression procedures.
