Position: Shop Attendant
Location: 16 Main Street S Georgetown
Job Type: Summer hours  then Part-Time / Flexible Hours in off season

Position Overview:
As the Shop Attendant at Dirty Adventures Scuba, you will be at the shop during business hours. Not only will you help perform daily operations, but you’ll also have the opportunity to play a key role in promoting the shop through social media and live events. You’ll be an integral part of the dive team, working closely with both staff and customers to create a welcoming and exciting atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Shop Hours: Must be available to work scheduled hours, including Monday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, and Saturday mornings.

• Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, help clients with gear, using Square POS. You do not have to have the answers, but the willingness to help.

• Online Content Creation: Support our online presence through engaging social media posts, highlighting events, sales, and dive adventures.

• Live Events: Represent Dirty Adventures Scuba at live events such as farmers markets and Try Scuba events, promoting our programs and engaging potential divers.

• Team Support: Work closely with the dive team to ensure smooth operations and ensure our customers have the best possible experience.

Qualifications:

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and fun-loving personality.

• Passion for scuba diving or a strong interest in learning about diving. We love curiosity!

• Excellent communication skills and comfort in front of groups and social media platforms.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Strong social media skills (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

• Great for students or semi-retired/retired adventure seekers!
